HVAC and Chiller Plant SCADA Monitoring

Building services teams run some of the most energy-intensive equipment on site, usually through interfaces that show a list of numbers and little else. Kingfisher gives you the same plant as a live 3D model in the browser: chillers, pumps, air handling units and cooling towers, each bound to its real operating data, with no software to install on any workstation.
What you can monitor
- Chiller plants: compressor status, supply and return temperatures, approach, flow rates, staging sequences and runtime hours per unit
- Air handling units: fan speed, damper position, filter differential pressure, supply and return air conditions
- Cooling towers: fan stages, basin level, condenser water temperatures
- Pumps and hydronics: primary and secondary loops, differential pressure, VFD speed and fault status
- Boiler and heating plant: where the site runs combined heating and cooling
Each asset in the 3D scene is bound to live tags, so an operator sees plant state and equipment condition in the same view rather than switching between a graphic and a trend screen.
How it connects
HVAC and building automation run predominantly on BACnet/IP, and Kingfisher connects to it natively, with no gateway and no middleware layer. Modbus TCP and RTU are also supported natively, which covers most chiller controllers, VFDs and energy meters, and OPC UA is available where the site has a wider automation platform already in place.
If your BMS already exposes BACnet, Kingfisher reads it directly. Siemens S7 PLCs are also supported natively, which matters on larger sites where plant equipment sits on Siemens controllers.
Why 3D for HVAC specifically
Plant rooms are spatial problems. A schematic tells you chiller 2 has a high approach temperature. A 3D view tells you chiller 2 is the unit next to the failed cooling tower fan, in the plant room on level 3. For teams managing multiple buildings, or contractors covering several sites, that spatial context removes the step where someone has to remember what the tag names refer to.
Scenes are built by dragging components from a library of more than 1,000 pre-built industrial assets, or generated automatically from a drawing of the plant using Kingfisher's AI scene generation. No 3D modelling skills and no development work are required.
